Nan
Today I realised that Nan’s eyes are like a pensieve.

Who would you dedicate your book to?
Who would you want to thank?
I like thinking about this, it grounds me that the list is so long.
Really struggling to find something productive to do between exams and Uni.
Little fly,
Thy summer’s play
My thoughtless hand
Has brushed away.
Am not I
A fly like thee?
Or art not thou
A man like me?
For I dance
And drink and sing,
Till some blind hand
Shall brush my wing.
If thought is life
And strength and breath,
And the want
Of thought is death,
Then am I
A happy fly,
If I live,
Or if I die.

When I first read the Chaos Walking trilogy, I tried to picture a film, but couldn’t. I just couldn’t see it ever working.
Now they’re making one.
I just really hope it’s in 3D. Mostly because, I don’t think Noise will work in two dimensions. It needs to smother the audience.
I sometimes think that 3D detracts from films, but with this series I think it could be a nice symbiotic relationship.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about - go read.

I feel like I could just sleep through life.
Seriously considering a self-employed future at the moment. Not sure how that’ll work but y’know, worth a shot.
